Mr Michael Föcking joined EQT in August 2002 to build and co-head EQT's business line that today is known as EQT Expansion Capital. Later he was appointed sole Head of EQT Expansion Capital.

As Managing Director Mr Föcking set up the Leveraged Finance activities for the German speaking market while at Royal Bank of Scotland; prior to joining RBS he worked in Merchant Banking and Specialized Finance at BHF-Bank.

Mr Michael Föcking holds a degree in business administration from Mannheim University and has supplemented his education with executive courses at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
