Mr William Liang joined EQT Partners Asia Limited in December 2010 as a Director.

Prior to joining EQT, Mr Liang was a Principal at Founder China Partners, managing the fund’s buy-out and growth capital investments. Before that, he was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank, managing the bank's equity and structured finance transactions in China. Prior to that, Mr Liang was an Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, construction and agribusiness sectors.

Mr Liang holds a B.A. in Economics from Peking University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. He is a CFA charterholder and is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in China.
