EQT III bought Plantasjen in 2001.

Plantasjen, the leading garden superstore chain in the Nordic region, provides a wide assortment covering the customers’ entire need for garden and terrace products as well as decorative flowers and in-house plants. Plantasjen’s outlets are based on a well-established concept that focuses on customer experience, easy access, high capacity and competitive prices.

In 2007 EQT III sold Plantasjen to Apax.

Key events during EQT's ownership:

• Successfully rebranded and converted Växus stores to the Plantasjen concept 
• Continued expansion with new store openings, more than doubling number of stores 
• Driving Nordic roll out by entering Finland
