EQT I bought Stjärn TVnätet, a leading cable television company in Sweden, in 1998 from Singapore Telecom.

During EQT´s ovnership EQT and Stjärn TVnätet worked closely with the management and employees and Stjärn TV went to become uniquely positioned company.

In 1999 EQT sold Stjärn TVnätet to UPC.

Key events during EQT's ownership:

• Substantial investment program to repositioning the company into a broadband access provider
• Successful launch of broadband internet services
• Acquisition of minor competitor
